Recently we happened to meet a friend at Delhi. She was
saying.... “You know what ? Seems like no one talks to me
around here. Everyone; even my friends' attention is on
something or other when they talk to me. Some at my body,
some at my ear rings, some at my cloths, some at my hair...
God!! at least men are focused on a single part my body
but these girls seem to be even far away from me.”
She is beautiful being herself and statement came with such
an innocence.
No wonder...we go on meeting and talking to people without really
meeting. Rarely does someone touch our heart; touch our being.

Re: Do we really meet ?
Thu, February 14, 2008 - 10:11 AMI got in the bad habit of looking around while talking to people. This stemmed from working in a coffeehouse and I needed to keep my eye on the counter to help customers. Then I noticed I was doing it all the time.
The key is to be aware, present, and mindful. This way you can give all of you to your companion in that moment.
