That nice. The in-fighting is disburing to me. It's as silly as rushing to get to meditation class and getting mad at the traffic. Upside down!

It's cool to see that Osho is still disturbing people even after all these years.

Another opportunity to remember that disturbances happen inside
      not outside.

I know my disturbances happen on the inside. I am too sensitive to the suffering of others. It just seems illogical to argue or fight a war over peace.

          >>>Just then they came in sight of thirty or forty windmills that rise from that plain. And no sooner did Don Quixote see them that he said to his squire, "Fortune is guiding our affairs better than we ourselves could have wished. Do you see over yonder, friend Sancho, thirty or forty hulking giants? I intend to do battle with them and slay them. With their spoils we shall begin to be rich for this is a righteous war and the removal of so foul a brood from off the face of the earth is a service God will bless."

          >>>"What giants?" asked Sancho Panza.

          >>>"Those you see over there," replied his master, "with their long arms. Some of them have arms well nigh two leagues in length."

          >>>"Take care, sir," cried Sancho. "Those over there are not giants but windmills. Those things that seem to be their arms are sails which, when they are whirled around by the wind, turn the millstone."
          _____________________________________________________

Where some may see windmills, Don Quixote sees giants.

But if we're still talking about the trademark decision... then what I'm understanding is two groups of people presented their notions of how things are supposed to be to a arbitrator to settle the differences. After a very long process, a discision was made.
I'm not seeing any wars being fought over peace. But I do see how it's possible that anothers mind may choose to frame things in what seems like a dramatic reference.
Perhaps I misunderstand all together and we're talking about two totally different groups of windmills.

also for me, I'm not seeing much suffering as a result of the arbiters decision that if any one owns Osho it's everyone owning Osho equally. How great is that! What a blessing for Osho that He is freed from the total ownership of a very few. Good for us. Good that Osho is free again.

And on this Dr. Martin Luther Kings remembrance day, a man with many of his own windmills... What better time to think:

"Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado.

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California.

But not only that--let freedom ring from Stone Mountain in Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From
          every mountainside, let freedom ring.

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and
every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to
speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men,
Jews and gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join
hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual,

"Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at
          last!"

And while we're at it in this time of globalism I'll just add,
Let freedom ring from all the other innumerable mountain peaks
around the world where some peoples choose to oppress other peoples. It's time many more voices
are free to sing whatever ol spirituals they choose.

Garimo - in the past there has been much dissent over use of the name. People have been driven off, lawsuits have been filed, and much unkindness. The suffering I speak of is that in the heart when all you wish to do is spread love and peace but someone else's greed makes that difficult. I know each side has its reason.

To fight wars for peace is a much broader reference. I mean this not to just this situation. I wish the world could find a way to express its differences without so much suffering.

This decision is good. These teachings are wonderful and I hope they can be shared by many. Perhaps there is the cessation to the suffering.

Good to know that Jayesh and co finally got a zenstick. The whole thing was ridiculous enough.
I am positive that there are many people around the globe happy with this decision...
And no more monolpoly on Osho!

    Cool !!!

OSHO exists in the circulating media - books, audio, video, etc. and the memories of those who experienced him personally.

Good? <shurgs>. correct decision perhaps, but overall it doesn't seem like much to get excited about.

    mostly silly.

And Osho's own words on copyright over meditation :

"For ten thousand years the East has been
meditating and nobody has put trademarks upon
meditations. And above all, that transcendental
      meditation is neither transcendental nor
      meditation…just a trademark.
I told [my secretary] to reply to these
people, “You don’t understand what meditation is.
It is nobody’s belonging, possession. You cannot
have any copyright. Perhaps if your country gives
you trademarks and copyrights on things like
meditation, then it will be good to have a
copyright on stupidity. That will help the whole
world to be relieved…Only you will be stupid and
nobody else can be stupid; it will be illegal."
